Jon Wray

Jon graduated from Bristol University and worked in mixed animal practice for 2 years. He completed his Residency at Bristol and held clinical and academic posts at Willows Referral Service and the Animal Health Trust before returning to Bristol as Clinical Fellow in Cardiorespiratory Medicine. He holds the RCVS Certificate, Diploma and Specialist Recognition in Small Animal Internal Medicine, the Certificate in Veterinary Cardiology and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (by Meritorious Contribution to Clinical Practice) and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Biology. He joined DWR in 2008 and is Head of the Cardiology Service.
Jon has been Chief Examiner for the RCVS Certificate and Diploma in Small Animal Medicine and is author of Canine Internal Medicine: What’s Your Diagnosis. As well as publishing widely, he has lectured extensively both in the UK and internationally in the fields of Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Interventional Radiology. His particular fields of interest are all aspects of cardiorespiratory medicine, interventional radiology and interventional cardiology, and in investigation of episodic weakness and collapse.

Telemedicine Manager
Helen returned to DWR in 2017 having first joined us in 2009. In the intervening period, she gained valuable experience while working for a global Telemedicine company which has put her in an ideal position to run our Telemedicine department and Holter Monitoring service.

Hayley McDonald
BVSc, DipECVIM-CA, MRCVS
Hayley graduated from Massey University in 2009 and worked in first opinion and emergency care practice in Australia until 2014. She then moved to the UK and commenced a 3-year Residency Programme at the University of Glasgow. Following completion of her Residency, she remained at Glasgow as a Clinician in Veterinary Cardiorespiratory Medicine and joined DWR in 2019.
